BNR Metal Pages says: Hailing from Arizona, ATROPHY fit right in with contemporaries such as EXODUS and FORBIDDEN, playing energetic, crunchy thrash. "Violent by Nature" was the more varied album, but lacked the spark and immediacy of "Socialized Hate". Two former members (James Gulotta and Tim Kelly) have recently been seen in a new band called HEAD CIRCUS, self-described as "still heavy metal and aggressive as always". At one time an album was planned, but their current status is uncertain.
